“YouMedia @ CPL is an innovative, 21st century learning space, housed at the Harold Washington Library, created to connect young adults, books, media and institutions throughout the city in one dynamic space designed to inspire collaboration and creativity…
The goal, in time, is to increase substantially the number of youth in Chicago who use online resources and new media as tools to engage in inquiry about their neighborhoods, the city, and the world.”

UCS sponsors a Compassion International child. Her name is Alice and she lives in Rwanda. In order to come up with the sponsorship money, we have done many creative things. Wear green, bring green day on St. Patrick’s Day is one of the biggest successes.
In a more ongoing effort, Donna buys candy in bulk and then the kids can buy individual candies from her. These here warheads are 5¢ a piece (i can’t understand the appeal, personally!) so here is what happened one day when we all tried the warheads.
