many of the ucshigh students attended a viewing of a new invisible  children  film {featuring our ucshigh alumnus,  natalie  warne} they want everyone to sign this petition and contact their congressmen about this issue:

“invisible children is trying to get their bill of disarmamentation signed by all the people of congress so obama will help us imprison joseph kony. the only two [out of our 4 congressmen] who have not signed the bill are mike quigley and richard durbin.”

UCS sponsors a Compassion International child. Her name is Alice and she lives in Rwanda.  In order to come up with the sponsorship money, we have done many creative things.  Wear green, bring green day on St. Patrick’s Day is one of the biggest successes.

In a more ongoing effort, Donna buys candy in bulk and then the kids can buy individual candies from her. These here warheads are 5¢ a piece (i can’t understand the appeal, personally!) so here is what happened one day when we all tried the warheads.
